On Thursday, April 14th, 2011, the Native Sons brought their pinewood cars that they built to the Solon Middle School to race in our annual Pinewood Derby. This year we had boys from all the tribes competing for the right to be called the fastest race car. After we let the boys practice a little, we divided them up by ages into three categories and let each car race at least 3 times.
Sometime in the middle of the race we stopped for Pizza, Chips & Pop. Finally after lots of lubing and wishing we had 3 big winners.
 A big thanks to Paul McCormack and the Shawnee tribe for putting it all together and installing the track. Trophies were taken home by all the winners.
